Aaaaaarrrgh

Ok, so things have reached dire straits up here on floor 8 of commonwealth hall. Too lazy and hungry to brave the 3 minute walk involved in purchasing a chocolate bar I decided to use my newly acquired student thriftiness to create a rare delicacy for myself using things already in my room. Five minutes later I'd mixed oats, water ( no milk y'see) and rather too much hot chocolate powder together, shoved it in the microwave and called it haute cuisine. The thing is, compared to commonwealth hall food, it almost was! My rumbling belly however, is not the only thing on my mind. My lack of blogging recently is really irritating me; so as I was sat on my windowsill listening to Iron & Wine last night I promised myself I'd be a three post-per-week kinda gal from now on. But even that isn't whats buzzing round my brain like my 8 year old cousin after a packet of M&Ms, I hate to say it, because its a very boring and run of the mill vexation, but the amount of essays I have due in for after reading week is slowly killing me. Being the first set of assessed assignments we have been given I'm feeling very unsure as to what is expected and how to approach it. Falling back into my old habits I have spent the majority of my free time this week doing anything but work and placing any rogue thoughts about essays that have the audacity to present themselves to the forefront of my brain in a tiny draw located somewhere in a dark and distant corner of my mind.  So to inspire myself for the weekend of work ahead I have collected some images of books and other learning related things... and no, of course that isn't procrastinating!
