That awesome moment...

Don't ask me how this happened, because I'm still not entirely sure myself, but basically on Monday night...I found myself at Julien MacDonald's after show party. Now if a club playing rappers delight didn't already tickle my pickle, throwing in a spot of Henry Holland and Jade Parfitt dancing along to the sugarhill gang with me certainly did. Ok, so maybe they weren't quite dancing with me... more like next to, with a cheeky spot of eye contact thrown in every now and then for good measure. The type of eye contact that mutually acknowledges the fact that it is a god damn good party, which it certainly was. Due to last weeks alcohol induced fiasco, (lets just leave it at that) I wasn't actually drinking, but the free vodka was flowing into the mouths of my friends while fresh orange juice was finding its way into mine. The night was full of flashing cameras and a host of extremely tall people with beautiful cheekbones, leaving me feeling ever so slightly inferior to the fashion tribe if it wasn't for the fact that everyone there seemed surprisingly down to earth and unpretentious. George Lamb popped in for a boogie and my friend caught Juliette Lewis washing her armpits in the bathroom sink, standard Monday night really. So in honor of our welsh buddy J-Macdizzle heres a few of my favourites from his a/w 2011 collection, which totally floats my boat with all its lace and chiffon ethereal beauty- the models look like they were dressed by angsty teenage fairies and woodland creatures... and I mean that in a the very best of ways.
