Tim Walker

I usually devour Vogue the minute I lay my hands on it, It's not that I rush it, I can spend hours lying languorously on my bed, pretending it's a chaise lounge, soaking up the beauty of Vogue's pages, but I nearly always do this as soon as I get home after my trip to WH Smiths. This month however I am slightly delayed, otherwise I would have posted this sooner because it honestly fills me with such happiness and excitement that I am dying to share it with you! When I rushed downstairs to tell my mum she wasn't quite as overwhelmed as I would have liked her to be, she was just plain old whelmed I guess. Anyway what is this wonderful piece of news that I have wasted your time rambling about? Tim Walker, one of my favourite photographers, is making a short film! Aaaahhh isn't it lovely when the worlds of fashion and film collide? His images are incredibly magical, depicting beautiful fairytales and conjuring up the kinds of feelings you haven't quite felt since you were a child. The short film The Lost Explorer, is about a girl who discovers an adventurer in the bottom of her garden, based on a story by Patrick McGrath, but thats about as much information as I can find at the moment. However, I am sure that as Walker's eye is behind the lens it will be a spectacular and inspiring feast for our imaginations and I can't wait to see it! Here are some of his wonderful snaps :
