EuroHip

Fewf, my room is resembling an actual place to exist in now, rather than a place for dust bunnies to breed in. They must be as rampant as real rabbits because there is basically a bunny orphanage on the top of my wardrobe, which I plan to attack later when I'm armed with spray, post tea and biscuit of course. It feels like a while ago now since I was strolling the streets of some of Europe's best cities, luckily my increasingly nomadic self has a friend with a house in France so next stop is Paris in two weeks time! I planned on spending the summer permanently attached to a camera, a notebook and a novel ( how gosh darn poetic of me eh?) and I definitely managed this whilst away; William Thackeray in my beach-bag, a moleskine by my rickety hostel beds and an iphone in my hand. The result was a sangria splashed journal full of funny memories, an increased love of social satires and about 200 photographs. We were lucky enough to meet small-pants-big-hair in Prague ( so called because he had an afro and walked to the shower in briefs so small they left NOTHING to the imagination), a lovely Latvian set designer. He told us of this great exhibition showcasing cutting edge theatre from all over the world, so that was good for a rainy day, especially since one of the exhibits was a set made up entirely of boxes of condoms, which we of course viewed in a very mature manner. Other activities in Prague included running away from creepy Americans, the best hot chocolate in the world (thanks Clear Head), a bloody good ballet and a boat trip along the Vltava.
