Vice Parties

Seriously contemplating another 5 hour bus journey down to London town this Thursday in order to head straight through the doors of Vice's Old Blue Last. If I hadn't just stabbed a £1,500 hole in my bank account (a deposit on a house, not an Oscar de la Renta dress, sadly) I would happily endure the sweaty, smelly bus ride down south in order to get free entry (YES FREE) to this party...
Doors open at 8pm and ears will be treated to the cutesy musical stylings of London five-piece The History of Apple Pie as well as the latest addition to my ipod Gross Magic, whose static-soaked pop has earned him comparisons to both Nirvarna and Ariel Pink, in other words he sounds like lo-fi lazy adolescent goodness.
