Nova Dando

So I'm gonna harp on about Wednesday some more, because whilst I was checking out the tall stubbly guy in the white and blue jacket (sshh, he might read this you never know!) Nova Dando took to the decks and blasted out the audio equivalent of teen-girl crack, so potent it took me all the way back to 2007 and I danced like a 15 year old on the drink-stained carpet of her friend's living room. In retrospect this probably didn't help capture the attentions of the aforementioned bearded boy.

No matter, I had a great night and the morning prompted research into a woman awesome enough to throw lil mama into the mix...

This snippet from an interview with Dazed and Confused only made me want to find out more (and secured her a position on a shelf in my brain labelled 'fucking cool')

It seems she's a jack of all the best trades, a designer, stylist and DJ whose worked with the likes of The Gossip, La Roux and Klaxons to name but a few.



                                  


I'm pretty sure lil mama's due a cut of lancome's profits for the year 2007, extolling the virtues of high end lip gloss via the medium of rap sure did boost the sales of juicy tubes.
